Hemorrhoids are enlarged vascular balls in the upper part of the anal canal. It is actually a connective tissue disease. It is popularly known as hemorrhoids or mayasil. It is divided into internal and external hemorrhoids. Over time, the enlarged vein balls that settle in the anal canal with the underlying causes protrude out of the anus.
What causes hemorrhoids?

What are the symptoms of hemorrhoids (hemorrhoids) disease?

Palpable swelling in the anus
discharge, feeling of wetness in the rectum
Itching
Anal fissure, perianal fistula, perianal abscess and thrombosis are other diseases seen in patients who apply with these complaints. Pain is a very late finding in internal hemorrhoids.
HOW IS DIAGNOSED?
The anal examination performed after listening carefully to the complaints of the patient who applied to the physician with these complaints is usually sufficient for the diagnosis in young patients. Rectoscopy is recommended for patients presenting with the complaint of rectal bleeding. Colonoscopic examination is recommended in all patients aged 40 years or older who present with constipation and are found to have hemorrhoids on anal examination. It should always be ruled out that there is no underlying large bowel tumor. It should be noted that hemorrhoids alone can be a symptom of colon cancer.
GRADES OF HEMOROIDS
1st degree hemorrhoids: Bleeding is the most important complaint. Hemorrhoids are detected during rectoscopy. 2nd degree hemorrhoids: Complaints of bleeding and itching are seen. It is detected during anal examination with straining. 3rd degree hemorrhoids: It is applied with complaints of bleeding, itching and wetness in the anus. On anal examination, prolapsed hemorrhoids are seen outside the anus. It can be sent inside with inspection. Grade 4 hemorrhoids: Complaints of bleeding, itching, discharge and pain are seen. On examination, swellings that cannot be reduced inside are detected.
